John will describe the construction and operation of several HO Layouts and his subsequent move to 0 scale. His new layout plan appears in the 2004 issue of Model Railroad Planning and is based on the C&O in and around Clifton Forge, Virginia. Both prototype and model slides will be used to illustrate how the layout theme and operations are modeled.
